crochet and tea for one

29 Aug

When I first started crochet, I kept my hooks in a plastic bag (not pretty in the slightest!) So I soon decided to make myself a crochet hook holder/organiser to keep them safe  and in one place. I made a cute brown+cream patchwork one. I loved it so much that I have decided to make a few, complete with crochet hooks to sell at my stall on the 18th of September. Perfect as a gift for a beginner, or just a treat for yourself. They help to protect your hooks and make them look all snug and cosy sandwiched between the beautiful fabrics.

I really enjoy making these as not only are they pretty, but practical too! I also made myself a larger version for my knitting needles and I’m sure I’ll be making a few of these to sell at some point too. (depending on how well the other ones go down first!)

On a more random note. My wonderful husband Smithy bought me the cutest, most adorable teapot set for one (courtesy of Paperchase) I absolutely love it and enjoyed my pot of tea in bed this morning. Perfect.

Note the business postcards in the picture! How very exciting!

Very exciting indeed! I’ll have to pop down to see you on the Saturday, even after Parkfest!
When do we get to see the postcards then?

Again, really nice crochet hook holders. Do you have your own etsy shop or somewhere where you sell these?
