Jewellery Roll

26 Oct

I have been busy making new bits and bobs for my stall at Southsea Boutique Market. Here are a couple of bits for now.

I first made a jewellery roll for my friends birthday, I would show a picture but my camera is awful and doesn’t do it justice! The one in this picture I made a few weeks ago with some beautiful blue paisley material that I brought offline.  I have bound the edges  of the inner pockets in a gorgeous hot pink satin which stands out perfectly against the blue. I absolutely love the fabric! It was also only the second zip I have ever sewn in so I’m pretty chuffed with the result.

I have also made this very funky knitting bag with wooden handles and pink velvet lining. This fabric I think sums up everything I love in a single pattern.I love the fabric so much I wanted to just frame it! I finished it off with an orange and pink crocheted flower.

All it needs now is somebody’s wool inside to make it complete.x
