Flo & Stan Home Boutique

19 May

Flo & Stan Home Boutique is a beautiful store located on Albert Road in Southsea, it sells vintage, hand made and quirky kitsch goodness. I have always enjoyed browsing at their beautiful wares and oggiling at their window displays. A couple of weeks ago I emailed them to see if they would be interested in stocking any of my Humbug creations ( you never know if you don’t ask!) and happily they have agreed to stock a few of my crocheted granny square blankets! I am very excited to have the opportunity to sell in such a wonderful location!

I immediately set off in the direction of Anne Louise Wool Shop in Copnor to find some wonderful wool to start my crocheted creations! Here are the colours I have chosen to get me started. I can’t wait to get my hooks out!

To celebrate me and hubby went to the pub (we don’t need much of an excuse!) played a few games of pool and then headed to one of the many junk shops on Fawcett Road where I discovered this beautiful vintage curtain hiding in a bin liner. And for one pound I simply had to have it!

So all in all it’s been a rather magical day! Now its time to chill with puppy….oh and the husband!xxx

Oooo I love that shop, just wish I had more time to mooch around there and pretty much all those cool shops in Albert Rd. That fabric was a serious bargain too looks kind of Sandersony to me! Anne Louise wool shop is just up the road from me it’s a brilliant little shop isn’t it so full of goodies!
